“ Came to celebrate Father's Day, and pre-ordered some of the special dishes they have on the back of their menu. We had vegetarian and meat eaters on our group and everyone was very happy with the dishes. Pure authentic Cantonese style food. We will definitely come back. ”
“ By far, the best Cantonese food that we have ever had in the Greater Edmonton area. The chef has good foundation that makes his fried noodles not very oily as you can easily see how much oil was left when that dish was finished. Extra credits were given to their waitstaff, particularly Kim who was very humble, courteous and friendly. A great surprise that their lunch menu were at least 20% cheaper than other Chinese restaurants in town too! ”
“ Decided to visit on a busy Sunday. We were looking for Chopsticks but they're gone by that name now so we tried out Rishun. Very satisfying and absolutely hit the spot when we were craving some Chinese food. We were told it would be about a 40 minute wait for our pick up order but it ended up only being about 20 minutes since they saw us waiting in our car they got it ready quicker for us. Will be back when the hankering hits again. ”
“ What a gem. My brother in law recommended this restaurant. Best Chinese food I had in 10 years. Seriously good. The huge peach shrimps was lightly battered and had such a crunch to it. Every dish was better than anywhere else in Edmonton. Huge portion and the price is sooo affordable. Lots of leftover to take home! ”
“ Ordered through skip the dishes. The selection was good. We really enjoyed the food. The flavour could have used a bit more of a punch but it was definitely good. I would easily recommend this restaurant if you’re in the mood for Chinese food. ”
“ Had brunch here with my hubby. Rishun is a cozy Chinese restaurant. Great food. Had a green onion cake, assorted tofu pot and a fujian fried rice. Portion really generous, reasonable price and food tasted really good! ”
“ I'm not familiar with restaurants in the west end of the city. Thankfully my friends suggested Rishun for lunch. Their lunch specials were delicious. If you like traditional dishes like beef chow fan, Singapore noodles, chicken chow Mein, sweet and sour boneless pork this is the place to go in Callingwood. Next time I'm in the west end I would visit Callingwood Farmers market first and head over to Rishun for lunch. I'd like to try their entrees on their dinner menu. I believe it's a family owned restaurant. When I was there, two elderly ladies were wrapping Zongzi (Joong) for their family. They were very sweet letting me watch them wrap these traditional rice dumplings and giving me tips on how to wrap them. The day we went it was pretty busy for lunch. Since this is a family restaurant, they don't have a lot of staff but they do their best to prepare and serve the food to their patrons with a smile. The food is worth the wait. ”
